This year was a complicated year for us to see sharks.
The El Nino pushed the warm water up to the continetal shelf. Beaches around Lisbon were closed and at Madeira Island as well because of Mako sharks.
But since 4 days the warm water is moving south and we now have normal sea temperatures for this time of the year. We can see the sea creatures turning back to normal !
Yesterday we saw 65 Mobula at Princess Alice, lots of Wahoo and Amber jacks. Today we saw Blue sharks and a beautiful Mako shark at the shark spot north of Pico called Pe de Sousa. 130 minutes Blue and 1 minute MAKO…..we love MAKO sharks.
